Purpose-built light and enclosed observation concepts for minerals.
LUMENLITHOS / THE HIDDEN SPECTRUM
LIGHT REVEALS · SCIENCE DEFINES
See beyond
ordinary light.
We are going to develop UV observation instruments and practical knowledge, and document wavelength comparisons and mineral fluorescence observations for people who want to reveal—and better understand—the hidden optical properties of minerals.
01 / THE LUMENLITHOS SYSTEM
Revelation is only
the beginning.
A fluorescent response becomes meaningful when the light is controlled, the observation is documented and the result can be understood. LumenLithos brings those parts together.
Clear knowledge about fluorescence, wavelengths, specimens and practice.
Wavelength comparisons, specimen observations and community-contributed research with methods and limitations kept visible.

02 / LUMENLITHOS INSTRUMENTS
Two formats.
One way of seeing.
Observation changes with context. Visus Theca creates a controlled viewing environment; Lux Thyla brings carefully selected light closer to the specimen.

Understand more.
The glow attracts attention. The Academy explains what shapes it: wavelength, activators, specimen history, locality and observation conditions.

04 / LUMENLITHOS RESEARCH
Make the hidden
repeatable.
LumenLithos may document comparative fluorescence observations of mineral specimens across multiple excitation wavelengths. Community members may also publish their own research and experiments. Methods, conditions, uncertainty and authorship should remain visible so observations can be interpreted in context.

05 / WHY THIS EXISTS
Curiosity found
its way back.
Among forests, old mines and mountain paths, collecting became observation—and observation became a desire to understand what ordinary sight leaves hidden.
